Merdeka Hols

Last school holiday, Phoebe went to Tawau to visit her cuzzies. She was very excited about her trip and I was actually a bit worried if she started to miss or look for one of us. Anyway the first few days was fine until on Thursday when she started to look for me.


We went back to Tawau on the Merdeka weekends. It was a very short holiday, so we didn't plan to go anywhere or do anything. So, we just stay at home,except for dh, he went to play paintball with his friends on our last day there. On Saturday we went to have a makan-makan dinner at Promenade with the whole gang (well..makan is always the main agenda in the family). The food is quiet ok but not as good as KK lah ...

Ok lah ... that's all..* I actually have no idea what to write anymore since i have not been blogging for a while ... oh well, I think i will cope with that soon...anyway, just to update, lately I've been busy doing my baking. Since this is my first time baking cookies, so I was thinking it is better for me to start early to practise so by the time Xmas is here ... my cookies will be perfect! (kunun lah....) Finally i have found my passion... hehehe, Its time for me to start practising my 2nd recipe .... *

Lazy ... Yes that is one word that can describe me now! I am so lazy to update this blog! haha..Anyway, Im busy with so many things at home that's why I don't have time to update my blog ....



This morning went to St Francis Convent to registered Phoebe for her next year kindergarten school. And I was a bit shocked to find out that nowadays school fee are very expensive,*sigh*. Hubby & I are still trying to figure out how to send/fetch her before & after school. If not, I might have to drive every day to work to send & fetch the kids! duhhh .. I hate driving in KK with all those uneducated drivers! Who likes to park anywhere & jump Q! suka makan jalan lagi! So friends, if you happen to see me on the road next time, please forgive me if I don't wave back at you because some of the road users really drives me crazy!!!! *sigh*

Anyway, tomorrow we are going to attend Phoebe's Mini Concert & Graduation Day at Bukit Padang. She is very excited as she will be performing in the sumazau dance ...Hopefully this year she won't have the stage fright again like last year ... **cross finger**, even her teacher said hopefully she will be able to go up the stage this year..( she skip her performance last year ..hehe) Well, hopefully everything went well tomorrow....

And ya ..tomorrow BIL & Wife will be coming ...soooo its time for window shopping! But alamak .. haven't clean the house yet ...

Because of Heroes .....

Had a funny conversation this morning with Phoebe. On the way sending them to school, a car almost hit us while reversing. Automatically I will scream (but not foul language lah .. not in front of the kids???!!) And the conversation begin ...

Me : Aiyahhhh .. this lady aahhh!! almost make people accident.... *long sigh*
Pb : Why mum?
Me : The car almost hit us lah .. she didn't see got car or not .. she reverse only ..
Pb : OO ..if the lady hit our car .. I die ahh?
Me : errrr .... aahhh ya lor! (Actually dunno wat to say)
Pb : It's okie mum, because Claire's father also already die and send to hospital stil can wake up when the uncle hold him kan
Me : HUHHHHHH????? That's only in the movie.. real people cannot ....**binggung**

Seeee????? That is why I said .. it's all because of HEROES!! Because the Daddy was so addicted to Heroes ..(and Phoebe watched the tv series with him) .. and now she is influenced with the series!!! aiyoyooooooo ...

Phoebe First Hair Cut !

Hubby cut Phoebe's hair last nite for the very first time...ever! Hehehe we never cut her hair since she was born ... that was about 4 years 4 months 2 weeks & 3 days ago! Few days ago I complain to hub saying that Phoebe's hair is "too long" already and very difficult to comb every morning. So I told her that I will bring her to the saloon and have a hair cut. But since it was her first time ( maybe she freak out... who knows kan??) so she insist that either me or hubby have to cut her hair ..Oh my! So finally hubs decided to do it .. haha didn't manage to take photo also. I was a bit scared if she would not have all those fringe again ..but luckily after I dry her hair last nite ..it was still as before, only shorter! and curly as ever which the Mummy envy very much... aiiieeee

EXCUSE ME ... BUT BACK OFF!!!

Ya ..Excuse me but back off ya! How do you want to say this to strangers politely??

Well the story is like this …

Last night my family & I went to have dinner at one of our usual makan place (Restaurant) .. So like usual when we were busy eating Piggy will be looking and playing around (sort of entertaining himself while I feed him) So suddenly these 2 ladies next to our table start to play with saac.. which at first I don’t mind. But when they start to hold his hand & cheek .. I was like … "HEYYYYY stop touching my baby ok!!!!and back off please!!" Do you like total strangers to touch your kids?? Well Me, I hate it! But how to say it politely?? I don’t mind if families or friends holding my baby ,but if I don’t know your name & I have no slightest idea about who you are then I won’t hesitate to say “hands off my baby!”. Why don’t people use their common sense …children tend to put their hands in their mouths so Please do not touch his hands nor his face lah.

There is also an incident where the shop owner & the workers try to carry Isaac and Hubby quickly picks him up and brings him for a walk …fuhhh!!!

Small note : wanted to post this entry last night, but when we reach home I was so tired that I fall asleep while watching TV with Phoebe…

Chinese School VS Kebangsaan School

Phoebe will be starting her Kindy next year so I haven't decided which school to send her ...yet! I would really love to send her to St Francis Convent. Not that I want her to be "another convent girl", hey I was a convent girl also ya ... only in my primary lah! But because it is nearer to my office place & to her after-school care.

I heard a lot of people saying that Kebangsaan school is not good because they are not strict enough, compare to the Chinese school. But a few of my friends also said that Chinese School really "suck-blood" like leaches .... So I am totally confused! My friends said Chinese school used to torture your kids like giving them a lot of homeworks and etc so the kids will have no time for other thing , than study study and study ...(my, how dull is their life kan??)

So I consider this matter as a very Important to me , I would like to know all of you mummies out there why did u choose Chinese or kebangsaan school for your kids? Is there really any difference after all? Do you regret your choice? Thanks Mummiesss!!!

Intrusion of Privacy... a.k.a. Share-Share mah....

Imagine this....

You're enjoying your nice evening soak in the warm water while minding your own business....

Suddenly, someone rush into your bathroom, screaming, "I want to ok-ok*!!!", and immediately sat on the toilet bowl.... staring at the intruder, you're speechless, profounded or thinking "what the....???"

What would be your next reaction?

1. Just ignore the intruder, mind your own business and continue with what you were doing
2. Shout out likewise, "Hey! My personnal time.... GET OUT!!"
3. Pretend you did not know that what happened.... (yeah, I would like to see you pretend on that!)

Well, as for Piggy, he opt no.1 + confusion.... what happened??? I thought Dad gave me the toilet for the evening.... sheessshhh.... MOM!!!!!!!!!!

What happened was, Piggy just finished his bath and was playing in the pail with his toothbrush.... (yup, I normally put him in there WITH SUPERVISION of course), when his sister rushed in to do her thingy..... The look on his face was "WHA.....???" look at the sister, look at me, look at Mom, look at sister (again), look at me (again), look at Mom (again), look at toothbrush, continue with his own business....

Mom eventually moved him nearer to the door....

Well, mental note to Piggy: Lock door when next taking a bath.

More and more parents are blogging their kids. Some are even blogging as their children.Anyone can blog about anything: be it school, work,politics, foods & etc. These days,blogs are commonly used as online diaries.While it is true that many young people blog, blogging has gained popularity among the more matured population..(like me! hehe..). I really wanted to start my own blog few years back..when at that time Phoebe was still an infant.She was growing up so fast that I could not even remember what she was like a few weeks before! (oh my...) Anyway my writing skill is not really "that" good .. so today I decided just to post a few photos of the kids ...

Phoebe's First Few Steps

It's going to be a long nite ....

The clock now is 1.30am. I am a bit sleepy a little while ago .. but now I am wide awake .. and I am not sure whether I will go back to sleep that soon. Phoebe has been vomiting for more than 3 times already ... poor girl! And she too is not sleeping at the moment... still watching her favourite movie, The Spiderwick Chronicle. I am not sure what is wrong with her or what cause the vomiting .... So far she has no fever (fuhhh .. nasib!) yet! Ok got to go ..

p.s thank god tomorrow is sunday!

Phoebe's School Assesment

Here are some of Phoebe's art ...mostly colouring hehe ... Got some more again .. but I am soo lazy to upload (hehe ...slow bah my pc) I received her report card last week and .. hmmm she got B for Nails! Huhhh??! WTH? Is it because she scratch one of the boys the other day? Weiii .. my daughter has been bitten by her classmate last year .. so I think that boy/girl (I'm not sure who ..) should get a D in manners!!But overall her performance in school has been very good .. she get all 100% in all the subject , except for chinese she only get 70% - B (hehe .. so I got reason NOT to send her to chinese school ..). And since attending school she can speak 2 language already.. ENglish & BM. Hopefuly we can teach her to speak in Kadazan in the future.. (but surely not by us ..nobody speaks kadazan at home :( .... )
