Merdeka Hols

Last school holiday, Phoebe went to Tawau to visit her cuzzies. She was very excited about her trip and I was actually a bit worried if she started to miss or look for one of us. Anyway the first few days was fine until on Thursday when she started to look for me.


We went back to Tawau on the Merdeka weekends. It was a very short holiday, so we didn't plan to go anywhere or do anything. So, we just stay at home,except for dh, he went to play paintball with his friends on our last day there. On Saturday we went to have a makan-makan dinner at Promenade with the whole gang (well..makan is always the main agenda in the family). The food is quiet ok but not as good as KK lah ...

Ok lah ... that's all..* I actually have no idea what to write anymore since i have not been blogging for a while ... oh well, I think i will cope with that soon...anyway, just to update, lately I've been busy doing my baking. Since this is my first time baking cookies, so I was thinking it is better for me to start early to practise so by the time Xmas is here ... my cookies will be perfect! (kunun lah....) Finally i have found my passion... hehehe, Its time for me to start practising my 2nd recipe .... *

Yup! That's how old Wyatt is today.

He woke up this morning a bit groggy due to his runny nose. Still, cheerful moody little one he is. I asked my wife what to get for his birthday, as we're not buying any cakes today or else he would blow the candles and leave his slime everywhere... euuwwwww

"Men" was Wyatt's way of saying Transformers... well I guess he's gonna get "Men" this birthday.

If not Transformers "Men", then it'll be either, Chau-men, Pan-men, Ultra-man, Spider-man, Kluang-Man.....

Short Update

I have been neglecting my blog (again) because I'm soooo addicted with FB! (Blame on those people who invite me to play all those farming games aaahh)

And I actually have lots of pixies to be uploaded (but first edited...) hehe

And I need to change my blog layout ....

And I haven't reply any of my friends message ....sigh

Anyway, I'll be back to blogging world sooonnnn!!! *Finger-Cross*

The Kids

3 days and counting...

Day 3 - Isaac is asleep now. He had asthma attack 2 days ago on the way to school. Poor kid. He was wheezing badly. Had to bring him for nebulizer at DMC. He was a bit better after that, and 3 other nurses + yours truly tried to keep him still.

The only time he would be given his inhaler is when he's asleep. 6 puffs and he won't even realised it.

Opps... his porridge is almost done.

Sleep tight kid. :)

The lazy me ...

Wow! It's already March. Obviously there is no update here ....  *sigh* I was quite busy lately with few things ...  

I have just finish doing my laundry and how I wish for a dryer since it has been raining almost every evening  ..*sigh*

Ok signing off now since I have no idea what to blog ....

ermmm ..actually I do, I have lots of the kids pics (taken last year, last month, our last hols and ....the list cont.) to be edited and posted here and my FB, but I let dh do that for me (If he has the time & mood to do so ..) teeheeheee :))

And its time for me to catch up with my girlfriends too! 

Ok Off to bed now ... (if I can sleep tonight since Phoebe has been vomiting since this evening ..)

Missed but not forgotten

Visit to Tambunan wouldn't be the same again.  We have just seen Phoebe & Isaac's great-grandmother being buried this afternoon.  

It was a perfect weather today; it was sunny, with a bit of breeze in the afternoon.  The neighbours were very helpful in setting things into motion.  MIL looked tired, however with everyone around, she had less to worry on the arrangement.  There were so many relatives & friends visiting, that yours-truly tend to stay in the shadow, observing the crowds exchanging greetings, children running around (especially phoebe), food being prepared and cooked; Uncle Eric writing up his Eulogy; cousins, aunties / uncles, nephew / nieces, all came to pay their last respect.

The last time we saw her was last Christmas.  She was still actively moving around, less chatty but full of smile.  The kids loved being around her, amused by her very elderly action, they would immitate her.  I still can remember when Isaac just started to walk, he would posed just like her, walking with his hands at his back while walking a bit slanting forwards.

I have less memory of her for I only knew her for a short time, and most of our encountered was a brief exchange of a smile.  

One thing I do know for sure, she did make everyone happy with her presence.  She is now with one of her children, looking from above, observing those who would remain here, running their daily errands.

On the way back to KK, I still can recall the faces of family & friends praying for her soul.  Yes, she will be missed, but not forgotten.

If all thing goes well this coming few days, we might be in Tambunan this coming Saturday for the 7th day prayers.
