Xmas 2008

I am back home since last Sunday. Was too tired to update my blog .... Just laze around in the house doing nothing. I think I have gain a few kilos (again) since holiday season ... 

So how was your Xmas celebration? Mine was very simple ..but most importantly  I celebrated it with my mum & family in kampung. We didn't do any big party or open house like we used to do last time, we just had a small makan2. Phoebe was having a great time in Tambunan with her cousins as she can run around the house and experience new things. Didn't have the chance to bring her to mandi sungai as it was raining all the time. 

Anyway, once I'm free and have the mood will upload the photos during the hols ya ...

p.s I have a weird feeling when I was in Tambunan recently, its not that I'm not happy to be home, but that is not the "home" where I grow up.. It's been almost 9 years I live outside my "comfort zone" ....I know some people has been living on their own longer than me , but I'm glad that I have proved to myself that I'm independent ... 

I will be officially on leave starting from tomorrow till the 4th Jan 2009!! Isn't that great?? Yeahhh ..lotsa times to spend with the kids @ kampung. My sista would also be going back to Tambunan to celebrate christmas there ... I text my mum this morning and said "I'll be home for Xmas....." woohoooo!!!

So hopefully can get half day today (Boooooooo!!!!!!..yes I'm still working on Xmas Eve, pa buli buat) because I wanna go home & roast the chickennnnnnnn!!!

Will be going to church tomorrow instead and straight back to Tambunan. BIL & Family will be coming from Tawau today via Kalabakan road but they will be dropping by in KK since The Royal Highness Nic still in KK now ....Xmas reunion dinner has no meaning with someone left behind right?? Off course .......

And I am really annoyed! Yes, with those ridiculous drivers !

I mean why on earth do you double park your car when you can see that the traffic is moving so slow? Issit for your own convenience aahh? Do they know that because of their own convenience they have cause inconvenience to other road users as well? 

So they sell their brains to buy expensive car issitt???? Pity horr this people ..Or issit they left their brains at home because its too heavy to carry aaahh??  

Oh well , I didn't intend to blog about anything today ...but because of this idiotic people ..at least I must write it somewhere ......

BOOOOOO to you people with big car with no brains !!!!! (I know lah my car is ugly...)

Won't be online for a while (hmmm ...does it make any difference? no update also mah here kan... hehe) Will be going back to my mum's kampung to celebrate Xmas & visit my old granny. Will be going away from KK for a while .... makan angin bah!

My company will be having a Xmas Lunch on Monday ..can't wait for that either (hehe ..... gondorot bah!) The only thing is we haven't conform where to go ... hmmmm doesn't matter where lah as long as the food is nice kan.


Oklah ... not in the mood to work already, still can't decide which church to go for mass on the Xmas Eve ....

Why? Because my leave for Xmas has already been approved......

So, its time to plan what to do during our looooong holiday...hehe

Actually, we do have a plan already .. haha. Well .. for Xmas this year, we will be going back to my mom's kampung. So going to spend some quality time with the kids,dh, mom & my old nenek ... miss her soo much already! And the kids can enjoy kampung life also ....

And BIL & family would also be around that time ..so, dunno whats the plan yet since they have to go back to Tawau by 26 Dec .. But well, Mosinoh's always have last minutes plan ..hehe

I am excited , but first have to shop some baju for the kids lah ...hoho

Busy Weekends!

It was a long weekend and bil & family was also in town (supposedly for Xmas Shopping .. hehe) We went to 1Borneo on Sunday night and it is very frustrating that the shop there closed exactly at 10pm! We were just finished our dinner at Restoran RasaMas and were about to go for window shopping when we see everybody has started packing already. And we didnt even get to buy donuts .. sigh. So we drove straight back to City Mall hoping that they still have some donuts, but still to our disappointment that they too are closing!(taaaapunn donut lah.. hehe). Anyway, just wanna share some of the kids photos taken during the weekends. And oh ya .. Its Xmas mood everywhere ... lovely!

No More Yoga for Christian??

Okie , this thing have been around for a few days, but never bother about it anyway until............



I read today's newspaper, Daily Express



According to it, George Thien, Sacred Heart Cathedral Youth counsellor said that it is not difficult to understand the reason why Fatwa is banning Muslims on yoga, because it involve mantra (chants) and the concept of oneness with God which are based on Hindu beliefs and, thus, deviate the faith of Muslim.

And as Tun M said " It is not as if by performing Yoga you immediately become a non-Muslim" or should I say U will become a Hindu!

Sigh ............... sigh ...................sigh ..........................sigh...............................

Understood! If its with the Chanting & meditation of course its haram kan, but what if its only involve exercises & stretching? So Wendy is a devoted Hindu now because she went to Yoga class every week? sigh.........This has now becoming a religious issue.


And now the Catholics also not in favour of yoga?sigh .......

Was trying to upload some photos taken during the weekends last nite, but streamyx (like usual) was so darn slow like siput!!! It takes ages to upload just 1 photo!!!!!!! So will upload the photos once the line is ok & when I'm free ....*sigh*

Discount or Discounted?

Discount or Discounted? Is that word a present tense or past tense? Hmmm ...

Last Saturday went to 1Borneo with the family. So we drop by at one of the shop there. At the shop entrance we saw a poster like this....

60% Discount (Bold & very big font)
Only for selected items (very small font....hmmm catchy eh?)

Since we saw the big 6 - 0 we were so thrilled to check out the things there....

So after few minutes browsing Wen finally saw 1 very cute knee-length pant. So we calculated the price after the 60% and it’s considered very cheap! So Wen decided to try it out and it fits perfectly on her so she decided to buy it! Actually she ask me to buy it too...(haha nanti jadi uniform lah pulak kan... hehe)

And what really surprise us is ................

The sales assistant tells her that the price on the tag "is the price after discount"!!!!!! And that pants is actually NOT on 60% discount ...only have 40% discount, and that is the final price on the tag.

I was really shocked. Off course mah kan.. because when we went into the store only 1 rack has that notice on it saying with 60% discount! So of course automatically u will think that whatever on that rack is on sale, right? Actually Hubby did ask which of the items that are on sale and the guy was pointing at the rack nearer to us and the one behind us! The funny thing is now he said the pant is only 40% discount???? and the price is already discounted??? WTF man??? Why do you have to put up a notice that you are having a sale and yet the price on the tag is already discounted??? And now you have 40% Discount as well??? And which item that is really on 60% discount??? My gawddddddd!!!!! Totally misleading!!And cheating too! They shouldn't put the price after discount mah kan .. they should put the before and after! aiyoohhhh ....

Poor Wen, I know she really like the pant.

Anyway, talking about all this sales & discounts item .. now I doubt it whether they do applied a valid license for their sales campaign. Because as far as I know (my previous company) it's not easy to get a license for you to do a Cheap Sale or Year End Sales. And you cannot even do sales like 10 times in a year??And when you fill up the form you must write the purpose of your sales, whether it's a year end sales, clearance stock or etc. Hmmm ..now I wonder whether all this shops doing sales got license or not ..or they just simply stick a note outside their premise saying ...buy buy buyyyyy!! Cheap Saleeessss!!!!


Anyway, the pant was hot! I love it too! But for a knee length pants that cost around $394 before discount and after discount of 40% is $236.40 ... I don’t think it’s worth it.

So be extra careful with the discount thingy, dh always reminds me that .......

And to those shop owners, please make sure that your label is not misleading to the customer... It is very frustrating and annoying you know.......

Lazy ... Yes that is one word that can describe me now! I am so lazy to update this blog! haha..Anyway, Im busy with so many things at home that's why I don't have time to update my blog ....



This morning went to St Francis Convent to registered Phoebe for her next year kindergarten school. And I was a bit shocked to find out that nowadays school fee are very expensive,*sigh*. Hubby & I are still trying to figure out how to send/fetch her before & after school. If not, I might have to drive every day to work to send & fetch the kids! duhhh .. I hate driving in KK with all those uneducated drivers! Who likes to park anywhere & jump Q! suka makan jalan lagi! So friends, if you happen to see me on the road next time, please forgive me if I don't wave back at you because some of the road users really drives me crazy!!!! *sigh*

Anyway, tomorrow we are going to attend Phoebe's Mini Concert & Graduation Day at Bukit Padang. She is very excited as she will be performing in the sumazau dance ...Hopefully this year she won't have the stage fright again like last year ... **cross finger**, even her teacher said hopefully she will be able to go up the stage this year..( she skip her performance last year ..hehe) Well, hopefully everything went well tomorrow....

And ya ..tomorrow BIL & Wife will be coming ...soooo its time for window shopping! But alamak .. haven't clean the house yet ...

It's our 6th year wedding anniversary today, and also dh birthday!


Yesterday went to watch movie (Madagascar 2) with the kids, but too bad Wyatt didn't like the noise so hubby have to bring him out from the cinema.


Today went to have brunch in our fav. rest and headed to 1Borneo. Hubby bought me a new electric oven for the anniversary present... So now it's time to show my baking skill..(if got skill lah... ! Lol!)

• The CM defended the state goverment's move to confer the actor the Datukship, based on his contribution to Melaka.Mohd Ali said " the actor's contribution are cost-free and the best part is that it has brought Melaka and Malaysia glory & fame ... and there was no need for state government to spend a single cents" (Ya lah .. our Malaysian artist cannot bring glory & fame ... pity we have to rely on outsider!eventho' its only for 30sec!I wonder in the movie did he mention he was in Melaka or not?)
  
• In 2000, 1.7 mil tourist visit Melaka. This year for the first ten months, the number reached 6.3mil!!

Had a funny conversation this morning with Phoebe. On the way sending them to school, a car almost hit us while reversing. Automatically I will scream (but not foul language lah .. not in front of the kids???!!) And the conversation begin ...

Me : Aiyahhhh .. this lady aahhh!! almost make people accident.... *long sigh*

Me : The car almost hit us lah .. she didn't see got car or not .. she reverse only ..

Few days ago, Datuk Sharir Abdul Samad told Malaysians that we can expect cheaper food price after the government has reduce fuel price (following the drop in world oil price). When asked specifically which "food item" to be reduced, he said .." wait until friday".



So, why wait? Why not announce now ..? Oklah this is purely my opinion only lah aahhh .. I think aahh the government doesn't want to announce it yet purely because they still don;t know which item to reduce . Issiitt the price of the egg?? chicken ? rice? or what woorrr?? I told hub they will reduce the price for the bombay onion ..because Datuk Sharukh Khan is the importer for the Bombay Onion!!! muahahahahahhahha ....



Oh well .. today is only WEDNESDAY !

Isaac's New best friend!

Poor Piggy .. was coughing since a few days ago, and last night he got fever! This morning decided to bring him see his Paed at DSC . So Doc gave him something .......

Yup! it's an aerochamber with mask - for his inhaled asthma medication . Anyway, from today onwards he can take over Phoebe's old aerochamber (which reminds me .. I have to look for it later at home) since Phoebe won't be using it anymore.



I remember my conversation with a friend some time ago when Phoebe was diagnosed with asthma (she was less than 2 months).

XYZ : Ko punya anak ada asthma? begitu kicik ..kasiannya ...
Me : Ya lor ... mama dia pun ada bah
XYZ : oo ko tau aahh klu asthma punya orang kan misti makan itu ...bla...bla..bla ..
Me : huhh?? YUCKSSS .... (nonsense!!)

Pity hoorr?? I'm sure they never read anything about asthma.... I should have tell them that it is possible to treat but not yet possible to cure ... and it is not even contagious!! *sigh*



Anyway, I just have to monitor Isaac this few days ... hope the wheezing will go away soon!

Yup ! Lately I am so busy with so many things! (yes ! Phoebe & Wyatt made us busy with their demands & wishes....) And have no idea to blog about anything .... I know I haven't done all the tags from my friends ..... arrrgggghhhh! not only busy but I am super lazy too! Maybe because too much of rendang & kari ayam .... hoho going to gain a few kilos again!

Was supposed to post Isaac's first few steps .. but ...hmmmm... can't find the video on my pc! Anyway, he has started walking now. Will post the kids recent photo (when I got time lah ya ...)

Lastly ...can't wait for Harry Potter this coming November!!!! yeeeahhhhh ... and ohh Christmas too! hehe ...
